How do I know if I have SD or DDR Ram ?

Can anyone tell me how I work out what RAM I currently
have(SD or DDR) ? I want to add additional RAM but need
to know this first apparently.

Look on the screen as the computer starts. Read the invoice.

at the beginning of the boot-up sequence you should have the developer,
version, copyright of your bios. under that there should be the model
of your mobo. below that there should be ram info. if all you see is
your mobo's splash screen, enter bios and disable it. your mobo's
manual should also have info about what kind of ram it supports.

alternatively you may contact either/or the manufacturer or store where
you purchased your pc.

and ordering, when upgrading.
