How do I keep text from changing from one slide to another?

I saved my slides to a file in My Documents and when I reopened the file and
looked at my text, it had moved to a different location on the slide and
everything was disorganized and now I will have to edit every slide. How do
I keep the text and graphics the same as I did it the first time. I do not
want to secure it as other people need to make their changes also.

Hi Anna Marie

See if this helps:
Text size or other formatting is lost when you save, close, and reopen a
presentation

If not, be sure to tell us your version and what file format you are saving
as.

Dear Anna Marie,

When you change the text treatment to something different than what is on
the master (View > Master > Slide Master), the text will often return to the
format of the master after you close & reopen a file. It's a best practice
to 1) establish type treatment, location, that sort of thing on a master, 2)
then stick with it -- not changing type treatment, location, that sort of
thing on each slide.
