I have just upgraded from Outlook express to Outlook 2003. In Outlook
express there is a button in the toolbar that automatically justifies text as
can also be done in Word.

In Outlook I can only find align left, align right and align centre.
functions than Outlook express. I have looked everywhere and I am beginning
to think it might.

Please tell me where I should be looking!

Set Word as your e-mail editor.

From the main Microsoft Outlook window, click the Tools menu, click Options,
and then click the Mail Format tab.
Select the Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages check box.

thank you for taking the time to reply. I'm sorry but I must be particularly
slow! I selected the "Use Microsoft Word" -- actually there are two check
boxes, one that says to edit e-mail messages and the other to edit rich text
e-mail messages. I checked both. Above it the "compose in this message
format" box is set to HTML. I've followed the instructions but still can't
see where/how to justify. Should I be looking for a button to appear as it
does in Outlook Express? It was very encouraging to see from your reply that
it's out there somewhere!once again, sorry to be a nuisance...

It's not on the default Toolbar that shows when you have Word as the e-mail
editor; you get a modified one. You can use View-> Toolbars-> Formatting to
display the regular formatting toolbar which holds the Justify button.
