How do I install windows 98?

I want to install windows 98 on my 2nd hard drive, but when I put in my 98
installation disk, it tells me that I must use msdos to do this, but alas, I
don't know how. Also, will I be able to tell it which drive to install it
on?? - I don't want to loose my XP installation on my C drive. Thanks much,
