How do I install the WinXP Fax Service?

"Add/Remove Windows Components" claims it wants a file called "fxscfgwz.dll"
which it thinks is on the WinXP Pro (w. SR2) CD

But it can't actually find that file on that CD - and neither can I.

I've followed the process in MS KB article 306550 - It doesn't work.

This is an MS-Validated copy of WinXP and this is the original Install CD.

WTF? Uhhh, I mean, what do I do now?

Run the Add/Remove Windows Components from the Windows XP CD. Files are in
compressed form and your Windows installation might not have the Extract
program installed. The files are stored on the CD with the final character
of the extension replaced with an underscore when it is compressed.
