The only Office applications (that have icons that can be seen on the Desktop
and listed in the Programs) that are preinstalled are: Excel, Outlook,
Publisher, and Word. I do have the original system recovery disks and the two
Microsoft Office Small Business disks that came with the computer. I've only
had this HP Pavilion 9720 with WIN ME since Dec. 2000...

Can I have Access and Powerpoint afer all this time???

Thanks
Joan

Hi Joan,

I'm pretty sure that Microsoft Office 2000 Small Business never included
Access. I can't remember whether it included PowerPoint.

Microsoft no longer supply Office 2000, so you'll need to look in
alternative channels (e.g. EBay or specialist old-software dealers). The
only version of Office 2000 that inclded Access was Office Professional,
but Access 2000 was also supplied separately.

The current version of Microsoft Office is Office 2003 (including Access
2003), which is not compatible with Windows ME. The previous version,
Office XP (Access 2002) will run on Windows ME.

Cruuudddd. I knew it was too good to be true, LOL. I guess I have to continue
using Excel for my lists.

Thanks for the reply.
