How do I insert the filepath name at the bottom of my docs so that others may
find where I have stored my docs from a printed copy.

If you have Word 2003 or earlier, View | Header and Footer, switch to the
footer, and insert the "Filename and path" AutoText entry from the AutoText
menu on the Header and Footer toolbar.

Caroline34,
I'm guessing you use Word 2003?
Go to View - header and footers - on the toolbar click the first button
which let you insert AutoText, choose filename and path. Close the header
and footer.

....and if you have Word 2007, click Insert tab, Footer, Edit Footer. Type:

filename a

and press F3 (expand AutoText command).

Note that "filename a" is short for "filename and path", which is the name
for the whole AutoText entry; just plain "filename" followed by F3 will get
you just the filename, but not the path.
