In outlook 2003 calendar my full month calendar views do not show the days of
the week. The fields where this would normally be are blank. How can I
insert the days of the week??? It is difficult and confusing to read the
calendar without the days of the week...

Thank you very much.

Make sure your Long Date format includes the token for day name (dddd) here:
Control Panel > Regional and Language Options applet > Click Customize >
Date tab

Hello Vince,
I found the spot you said via control panel and it does contain dddd and
other things line yyyyydd and so on, but does not seem to affect the Outlook
Calendar in any way. Any other suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

Hmmm, that's always worked in the past. What's your full Long Date format?

Hi Vince,
Thanks again for helping, still haven't got the days of the week...
my long date format is dddd MMMM dd yyyy
I have tried the other combinations available with dddd but nothing seems to
work: the day of the week field is blank.
cheers,
jcarroll

What if you change the dddd MMMM dd yyyy to dddd MMMM dddd yyyy?

Hi Milly,
I just tried your suggestion with no luck. I restarted after applying the
changes and clicking OK etc, but no days of the week have appeared on the
calendar. Are the days supposed to be there? Everyone else has days on
their Outlook calendars??
Any other suggestions?? Thanks for your help and patience.
