How do I insert a working search field in an access form?

I want to be able to create a search feild to find information from the
database, by placing it on the form.
 
Hi,
That's a pretty general question so I'll recommend the easiest way is probably
to use the combo box wizard to create a combo on your form that will 'search' for the
record that is chosen. The wizard will write the code for you, just choose the 'find a record
on my form' option (not the exact wording, but close).
