Use this space in the message body to define what exactly you mean by "index
a website".

Have created a website in Microsoft Frontpage, have gone to publish it and
the homepage is blank, apparently this is due to the fact that I have not
indexed it to allow the browser to point at the website. What do I have to do
to correct this problem?

Did you name the home page index.htm ??
The home page, also called the "default page" must use the default "file name" required by
the server.

Rename your home page index.htm and then publish and see what happens.

so i take it if I have saved it as something else like Dave for example then
I have made a mistake and need to rename the file and then re align all the
address for the hyperlinks

If you named it Dave.htm it won't work ( unless you can set the server to default to
Dave.htm )

If you right click the file ***In FrontPage folder view*** and rename it index.htm
FrontPage "should" automatically update all of your hyperlinks.
