How do i incorporate a search using a user input (eg a name)

I am creating a database on pests i need to know how to create a search
function fron user input, i need to have the results displayed in a nice back
ground rather than a search on the list (result not presentable) also i need
a drop down box to select from a list after selecting i want the user to
either preview or print that record please help

Are you looking for someone to design and build your application? The folks
who post in this newsgroup are mostly volunteers -- I don't know if you'll
find someone to volunteer that much time.
