How do I create a feature in PowerPoint 2007 whereby I can click on an image
or word/letter etc, release the mouse button and reposition the selected
object by clicking again in the new position?

Any help would be very much appreciated but, please keep jargon down to a
minimum - I'm not a geek!!!

Thanks.

Just what I need - thanks Pillai.

How can I copy this macro into my own presentation? Whenever I do so it
seems to lock-up the presentation when I go to slide show.

Or do I have to copy my presentation into the demo? - that works

cheers
Chris

The information on that link is exactly what I want to do - however, it
doesn't tell me how to do it!

I want to be able to use a drag & drop feature during a presentation so that
students can take an interactive part during a lesson - it was possible in
earlier versions of PowerPoint using Macros but I haven't a clue how to
create macros in PowerPoint 2007. As I said, I'm not a geek - I need very
basic, jargon-free instructions that a total novice could understand.

I'd be absolutely delighted if you can come up with a solution
