How do I import the journal notes in Contacts to my new computer

Not all the information on my old computer transfered to Windows 98 on my new
computer. The "Catagories" and "Journal" notes did not transfer.
 
Did you just reuse your original .PST file or did you import? Importing
tends to lose data.
