I need to import a table with its field descriptions. Is there an easy way to
do it?
Thanks.

Import from where? If you import from another Jet database, the descriptions
will come along. If you import from another data source, you'll have to add
them.

I see that you've posted questions similar to this in multiple newsgroups.
If you feel you need to post to more than one group (HINT: it's seldom
necessary), please have the courtesy to cross-post (send the one message to
all groups at once), rather than multi-post (send individual messages to
each group). In this way, all responses to your post will be available
together, regardless of what group the responder was in, and the rest of us
won't have to read your post multiple times. (It also uses fewer server
resources)

If you're using Microsoft's web interface to post, you should see an
"Advanced Options" link at the bottom of the page. You can type the names of
the various groups into the Newsgroup box, separating each newsgroup name
with a semicolon.

You've already got other threads where you've been told to use
CreateProperties on the Table and/or Field objects.

Keep in mind, though, that many people use newsreaders that are
configured to automatically assume that any post crossposted to a
large number of newsgroups is spam of some sort. My newsreader is
set to filter out every post with more than 2 newsgroups.

Your rule strikes me as a tad draconian.

I can certainly see posters not sure whether they should be posting to, say,
microsoft.public.access, microsoft.public.forms (or
microsoft.public.reports) and microsoft.public.modulescoding, and so
cross-posting to all three (although it isn't, of course, usually
necessary). There are also many posters who have a question related to, say,
automating Word or Excel from Access, so they post to both Access and Word
(or Excel) newsgroups.

Would you rather they multi-posted?

The microsoft newsgroups are not the only ones I read.

No. But I don't care to answer posts that are massively crossposted,
so I don't see them and they don't bother me.

Just as with quoting, trim your newsgroups to the absolute
essentials.

And I do believe that the organization of the Access newsgroups is a
big problem -- they are broken down too much so that it's not clear
what belongs in each newsgroup. That's one of the reasons I avoided
reading them for years because I found that to be very frustrating.
