Hi,
I have an existing d/b of around 4,500 b.contacts and around 2,000 accounts.
I have just got some new data of around 3,000 b.contacts and 1,800 accounts.
This is currently in Excel format. The challenge is merging the 2 sets of
data.
Some accounts will be duplicates of those I already have, but I may have new
b.contacts in the new list to associate with them.
Some will be new / fresh accounts and b.contacts for us.
When I import the data I can select to import duplicates or not. That’s OK.
Can I associate (link) the b.contacts to the accounts as they are imported,
or do I have to do this manually after they are in the d/b?
I know I can log the account name to the b.contact but I want to make the
formal link at the time they are imported i.e. we need to be able to view the
b.contact from the account screen straight away.
Please say I can do this as I don’t think I can take it if we have to do it
manually…….?
Hope you can help.
