Sorry if this is percieved as a dumb question, but I'm kind of new to this

I'm waiting arrivel of some RAM and a new TV Tuner card before I install
Vista RC, but had some questions so I can get things wired msot easily before
I get everything started.

I'm a little confused on how I need to manage my setup.
basicaly the main thing I am looking forward to doing is recording live TV.
I currently have my Xbox 360 hooked up to my network via a router, but am
confused how that helps me record tv.
Do I need to just hook up my TV tuner card directly to the wall jack, or do
I need to hook it up to an S-Video Out from my tv that has the xbox 360
hooked up to it.
The TV tuner card has an input for both so either one is not a problem.

thanks for any help you can provide

You will use your Xbox 360 only as an extender. TVCard can connect to the
wall jack and record stations <100. If you want digital cable or premium
channels, the S-video and audio cables go from your Set Top Box to your
tuner card and you need the MCE Remote and Receiver.

Once the PC works and records, you can use the XBox 360 to watch recordings
or Live TV, using the PC as the 'server'.
