I would like my application to be the "only one" when
running. This means I would like to block access to the
Windows Start-button and the "Quick Launch toolbar".

How is that done?

Are you quite certain the users of your application will appreciate you
taking over control of their PC like that?

It seems like you are trying to do something to solve a perceived problem --
perhaps if you described the problem, readers could offer alternate
approaches...

It is for a small application that runs on a monitor in a
reception - for registration of seminar attendees. Right
now we have people mess with the PC because they can
access other applications.

We would like it to be limited to the registartion
application only.

Good luck, then. I'm not familiar with disabling the start/task bar in
Windows.
