How do i ?Help urgently needed.

Hi,Being new to frontpage i thought i would give it a try.Downloaded my
website into it ok....then validated the hyperlinks by mistake and it changed
them all....loads of them.....can i find and republish the original files ie
is there a history that i can go back too and resave to the original correct
pages?Thanks Mark
 
How did you download your site?

Does the live/remote server have the FP extensions or are they available to be installed by the web
host?

Please explain how FP changed your hyperlinks?

Another question to add to those posed by Thomas:

Have you studied the subject of a Front Page Disk-Based
Web and do you understand the concept of it?

If you don't do things inside a Front Page Web,
like "validating" your hyperlinks (I suspect you mean you
had Front Page RECALCULATE hyperlinks), you will run into
trouble.

You can always delete the files that are on your computer
(assuming those on the web server are still intact) and
start over after studying Front Page.

You should also pick up a copy of a book on Front Page
and read it prior to jumping in too far. You don't want
to wind up screwing up your web site to the point you
will have to start over from scratch. I would
recommend "Microsoft Front Page 200x" by Jim Buyens.
There are several versions in print so be sure to get the
one that covers your version of Front Page.
