hello
how do i group or delete identical values in one field

eg
field1
xy, rd, pl ,xy, rd, ls, pl, rd

would like

field1

xy, rd, pl, ls

Hi,

The easiest way is to Normalize your data, which mean you have just one
value per field. You can do that working along the vertical, rather than
along the horizontal.

Not:

Who, field1
11, "xy, rd, pl, xy, rd, ls, pl, rd"

but rather:

Who, field1
11, xy
11, rd
11, pl
11, xy
11, rd
11, ls
11, pl
11, rd

and then, piece of cake to append, delete, force unique value (constraint
through an index), etc.

Hoping it may help,
