I made a move of our trip to WDW on my friend's laptop and I saved it to a
zip drive. When I go to look at it on my computer it won't open.

Do I just upgrade my verson? If so how do I get the newer version? If I do
that will it recognize my Disneyland Movie done in the old version?

If you are referring to the .mswmm Movie Maker project file...
the Vista version is not compatible with Windows XP. And
there is no update for Win XP that will change this.

If you Publish the Vista Movie Maker project in a movie format..
..wmv or .avi...you should be able to view it on your Win XP
machine and import it into Movie Maker as a movie clip...not
as a project with individual elements.
