How do I go about creating subreports with a Pass-Through query?

Hello,
I don' understand why creating subreports from a pass-through query is
impossible.
The reports I am trying to create are very basic.

The only turn around I have for this is to dump my data into a table and
work from there. However any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if this is impossible or not but you might try basing a standard
report on this report and use that as the source for your subreport(s).

Please substitute the word "report" with "query" in my previous post
 
I already tried this. I even created a simple query from the pass-through
query to try and fool Access but no luck.

The only way I found so far is to dump the information into a table and work
from there.
