How do i give a password to folder

As we give password to any excel file of Ms- word file can we give a
password to a folder that is present in My Computer
 
There is no way to password protect a folder in Windows. If you use
WinXP Pro, create separate accounts for each user and set access
permissions.

The easiest way to password protect a folder is to use a third-party
program like this one:
