How do I get Word to automatically update text?

I have a document I created to specify requirements for Projects. I need word to automatically update PROJECT NAME throughout the document with the name of the project. How do I accomplish this without manually doing Find/Replace All.
 
One way would be to create a custom document property, then use a
DocProperty field in the document. Update the document property, then
Ctrl+A, F9 to update the fields.
