After so many plugs here for Windows Live Mail Beta, I finally installed and
tried it today.

Worked with it for some time but then decided it wasn't as good at Windows
Mail (and certainly not as good as OE...) and so uninstalled it.

However, it seems to have taken Windows Mail with it too. How do I get the
latter back please?

Arrrrgh!

Sorry to hear you did not like WLM, but there are things about it
that I don't like either. Uninstalling WLM should have restored
your WM shortcuts. If not, navigate to
C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe and right-click on
that program file, choose Create Shortcut.

Hold down the WinKey and press R. Paste in this command:
"C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe"
with the quotes. It will ask you if you want it to be the default.

That shouldn't be too dificult; you just need to refresh your system files.
Open a command and type (exactly) SFC /scannow and just let it run. Any
missing system files etc.. will be replaced.
