How do I get this problem?

Sorry, but not sure what your request is. However, this is the equation I
put in the cell:

=301.5/COS(19.79)

and I got 511.5117.

Yes, that is what I got too, and I need to come up with the correct anser of
320.43.
So there must be another solution to this problem. If you do this on a
calculator you'll see what I mean.
 
Don't forget in excel = cos() uses radians *not* degrees

Im off to work, I'll put my brain around your numbers in the morning
(if no one else has)

Steve has given you the answer, but in case you can't wait for him to
finish work you need to enter your formula as:

=301.5/COS(RADIANS(19.79))

19.79 are degrees, and as trigonometrical functions in Excel use
radians you have to convert these as shown.
