How do I get the product key?

I downloaded and installed Office 2007 beta2 from a Microsoft email I
received that said, "Listed below are the products you selected and the
associated product keys to activate the beta."; however, there was no product
key shown anywhere and a window keeps dunning me for it when I start Outlook.
Please advise what I should do.

Aloha,
Bob

When you register before you download, it lists the keys required. I just
copy and pasted then out of there.

Was the key in an email or on the registration screen? I guess I somehow
missed that. Now what can I do?

I'm replying to myself. I saw other posts from people with the same problem
so I decided to order the CD and reinstall the beta. Hopefully, this will
solve my problem.

The key was in the notification e-mail and also listed on the SmartSource
Download Manager screen.

I didn't get any email with license key....though I got it before
downloading.

I didn't get it either way. I would have noticed it although it's possible
that I missed the download manager screen. I never received an emal with
the key.

I saw the product key(s) on the d/l screen itself. You'll notice it's a
table, the 1st column is the d/l link, the 3rd one is a link to prereqs, and
the 2nd one contains the key.

Reapply with the same details and you will be shown the keys again. Save the
page.
I got two emails and only the second gave the product keys.

I did what you suggested and, this time, it worked fine. The product key was
stated both in the response to the download request and a subsequent email.
This did not happen the first time so there must have been a problem. I see
other posts with the same thing I experienced.

Thanks for the help.

Was the key in an email or on the registration screen? I guess I somehow
missed that. Now what can I do?

When I registered for the Office 2007 Beta 2, at the end of the
ordering process, a window popped up showing the installation key.

Altogether, I received three emails from Microsoft Beta:
1) The announcement of Office 2007 Beta 2's availabliity
2) The welcome message I received after creating an account
2) The confirmation of my registration, along with the installation
key, which was the same as the key presented to me when I ordered the
Beta. I received the confirmation and key within minutes of receiving
the welcome message and registering my account.

However, I have subsequently taken the entire suite off my HD. I was
very underwhelmed and disappointed with Outlook's performance. I may
reinstall Excel and Word in a few days.

Being a rather forgetful person, I printed the brower window
containing the key, and moved all three emails into my Apple folder in
Outlook.

The first two were HTML, with the third one containing the
confirmation and installation key in text.

Your experience should be much the same.

If you figure it out let me know I have had the same problem 2 activation
keys and neither work

Click on start menu, right click computer and select properties. At the
bottom of the screen you will see the product key.

Hope this helps

Neil.

That's the Product ID, not the product key that is needed to install Vista
and activate. The product key should have been emailed to the user and shown
within the web browser during the download of Vista.
