Under slide show - custome animation, you right click on the music title,
select effect options, under stop playing you chose how many slides you want
that particular song to play through.....
You might want to link back to the Powerpoint tips page and look at the
other "Sound" items too.

Very interesting discussion, since I've been wondering for years how to do
this. So, I tried the WAV method and I downloaded the CDex program and
tried the mp3-2-wav method. All to no avail. I'm trying to play a country
type of music on a web slideshow at : http://www.bmyc-inc.org/powerpoint3/western_ppt_files/fullscreen.htm or http://www.bmyc-inc.org/powerpoint2/western_ppt_files/fullscreen.htm
Is there something else I should consider or do when trying to do this on
the web? Anyway, the basic presentation worked great. This is simply a web
presentation question.
