I just installed my new Citrix Server running on Windows 2003 Server w/
Terminal Services enabled.

My accounting program get this warning message dialogue box before
executing. The box informs the users that the file could potentially be a
virus and harmful if open. Now there is a check box that is grey out that
says I will always be asked before opening. Since my application is a
shortcut to a mapped drive on my backend server I need to click 'Open'
everytime before execution. Since the file is an EXE file, this check box is
not available and I will always be asked before opening this type of file.

How do I remove that warning message, I confident that my program is okay.

Any Ideas?

Greg

I believe this is controlled by this setting

Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local Intranet -> Custom Level -> Launchine Applications and unsafe files - "Enable"

or via Microsoft .Net Framwork configuration, you can alow access to the entire Intranet Zone, or a named assembly

Can I do this via GROUP POLICY? If so where do I find this policy to
enable or disable this operation?

Okay, I made the changes under my administrator profile but when my regular
user logins in he does get the same setting as the administrator. Why is
this?? How do I change that?

That's because all desktop settings are per user profile. You can change this for everyone here

Group Policy -> User Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Internet Explorer Maintenance -> Security -> Security Zones & Content Ratings -> Import current security zones & privacy setting
