How Do I Get Rid of "Overwrite" Popup when I Save?

Whenever I save over a file, the computer gives me a pop up to ask if
am sure if I want to overwrite.

I am and need to run the excel sheet in internet explorer.

application.displayalerts = false does not seem to work when the exce
sheet is running in IE. Thanks for any tips
