How do I get Outlook to open large hotmail files?

When I receive a Hotmail message in Outlook that is over 1MB it can not open
the message and breaks the conncection with Hotmail. The only way I can open
the file is to go to Homail direct online. Is there some setting I am missing?

I have the same problem, did you ever find an answer?
Also I am unable to send emails out, even though outlook 2002 claims to have
sent them.
