How do I get out of 'markup' mode?

Somehow I'm in 'markup' mode, and I have NO idea how a) I got into it, and
b) how the heck to get ouyt of it.

I have a 'Send : To:, CC:, & BCC:' task bar at the top of Word a 2003 and
it's p***ing me off because I gave a portarit mode monitor and with this
extra stuff at the top of my screen i don't see the who;e document.

Please tell me how to get oyut of this wretched mode.

Hi, Austin.
1. Double-click the TRK at the bottom of your Word window. You might also
want to accept all changes. Reference:

2. Click the email icon on your Standard toolbar. It's a toggle. It puts the
email thing at the top or takes it away.

What you have done is turned on routing. From the File menu, select Send
To, Toggle off the Mail Recipient (or what has a checkmark listed on the
Send To menu.) You should then regain your "real estate" in your window.
