How do I get my saved GIF file to work.(saved off of powerpoint)

After I saved my animated powerpoint slide to a GIF format it won't
work..Maybe it's me...
 
Hello Lil Mike,

Saving the PPT as a gif results in individual pictures of your slides. It
won't work in the sense that PowerPoint works.

What are you trying to accomplish by saving this as a gif?
 
Any other options??? I would like to save my animated slide to a file that
would work.
