How do I get MSN as default again?

My computer was bought with IE6.0 and OE as the default.

I downloaded Mozilla 1.6 and it has been the default for about two months.
I can't seem to get it back to IE6.0 or OE now and I need to have it back in
Internet Explorer to buy something. It keeps insisting on me getting Internet Explorer,
even giving me a place to download. I already have it in the PC.
I just can't find the place to make it the default.
 
Open IE from the Start Menu shortcut and it should ask you if you want to
make it the default again. If it doesn't, post back here and we'll try
something else.

Open Internet Explorer, then
1) Click on "Tools"
2) Click on "Internet Options'
3) Click on "Programs" tab
4) Click on "Reset Web Settings..."

You will have to reset your Search settings after doing the above, but it
will reset Internet Explorer as the default Browser.

If you don't want to lose your current home page, uncheck "Also reset my
home page"

While you're at it, make sure "Internet Explorer should check to see whether
it is the default browser" is checked.
