I understand I can use MSAccess to upload my product database? Where do I
get it? I can't find it in my frontpage 2003.
Thanks

It's not part of FrontPage. It's a separate program and you get it by
purchasing it.

You get Access by purchasing it. However, you use FrontPage to upload
your database, not Access. Access is used to edit the database AFTER
it has been downloaded by FrontPage, although ASP pages can also be
used for editing.

In some cases, Access is part of Microsoft Office.
If you have MS Office XP Professional, then Access (ver 2002 is XP) will be
on that CD.

But FP2003 is only a stand alone purchase. It's possible that the OP has
Works (or even Word Perfect) and none of the other Office applications.

It is also a free DL from Microsoft if you have high speed / broadband.

You will find much more info at:

If you want to use a database and do not have Access you can also use a
HOSTER with a SQL database.

This is a database (SQL) and not an Access Database;

Hi Neo,

I'm not sure we have understood you correctly. FrontPage can create an
Access database for you. You would only need the Access program to further
edit the database. Otherwise, FrontPage will upload it when you publish your
web site.

Sometimes you eat the elephant.
Sometimes the elephant eats you.

you need to PURCHASE it. It is NOT a part of Frontpage! it is part of the
the MS OFFICE product suite.

even so, MS Works' database will not open mdb files. You need MS Access to
open Acess *mdb files.

That's right. My point was that just because the OP has FrontPage does not
mean that she/he has Office.
