How do i get movie make 2?

i went onto the microsoft website and noticed that there was a mivie maker 2.
i clicked on the link and saw loads of pictures featuring thing's my current
version cannot do. however, i couldn't find any way to actually download it.
so, how can i?
 
I was about to post exactly the same questioned. Spent several hours trying
to figure out how to download Moviemeaker 2.0
Someone, please help us. Many thanks.
 
i can open up movie make, it's just trying to get the movie maker2 i've just
installed to run!!!

When you open Movie Maker what version does it tell you that you have?
When you do it John's way by navigating to the "moviemk.exe" file what
version does it then tell you that you have?
 
I HAVE SERVICE PACK 2...BUT I CANNOT DOWNLOAD MOVIE MAKER 2...SHOULD i DOWN
LOAD SERVICE PACK 2 AGAIN?

Movie Maker 2.1 is included in SP2.
Are you sure you don't have it?

Go to...Start / Run and type...moviemk.exe...
then press enter. If the program launches...
go to...Help / About...you should see...
Windows Movie Maker Version 2.1.4026.0
