how do i get emails delivered to microsoft outlook instead of out.

i've set up microsoft outlook as my default mail handler but my emails are
still being delivered to outlook express. how do i get them delivered to
microsoft outlook

information on the problem

You set up Outlook as your default mail program in Control Panel > Internet

express & then imported them & deleted them from outlook express, i've
checked that outlook is the default mail receiver & sent a test email but it
still wasn't delivered to outlook

If I were you I'd use the same settings you used for Outlook Express since

You need to start from scratch and enter your settings directly into
Outlook.

i had already tried that but i've now deleted all the settings shut down &
restarted & entered the details again & it seems to be working. thanks
