I have WinXP on drv C and Vista on D. Dual boot works fine unitl I
upgraded drv C to a larger drive. The system won't boot after I imaged
content of drv C to the new drive. To get XP running, I did the
fixboot/fixmbr from WinXP CD and Win XP works fine now but I have no
dual boot menu. Should I try to re-install Vista again?
TIA

Now you need to do the exactly the same trick but using the Vista DVD
instead.

Use VistaBootPro to restore your Vista boot or you can run startup repair
from the Vista DVD

I've used it twice, and it fixed boot problems on
two different desktops. Did not work on a laptop
one time, had to use Startup Repair from the Vista
DVD.

I had good results with it early on, then some problems, and again worked
well for me early in RC1. I haven't had any use for it for about 4 months,
but noted that Colin had continued to talk about it pretty much until he
stopped posting. Some have reported back that it has worked for them.
Others not. Curious, have you had problems with it or EasyBCD, which also
worked for me, but have found their site to be too undependable.
