How do I get an email address to set up a new account in Microsof.

I have one email address shared amongst two computers and want to add a new
address to one of the computers and keep the existing address on the other
computer. I have tried using, Tools and Accounts and the Add and Remove
options but its not working, do I need to set up an actual email address
first and if so how do I do this?

Care to state your Outlook version and what type of account you want to
create?

Outlook version is Microsoft Outlook 2000 and just want to set up a separate
private email account for another employee in the office
