How do I get administor's permission when I am administrator

Trying to save word file to cd drive but get message " You do not have acess
to the folder"F:" See your administrator for acess to this folder. Yet, I am
the administrator. Can anyone give a fix for this?

The message is misleading, since you can't do the job even with
administrator rights.

Don't try to save from Word directly onto a CD. Save it on the hard
drive, and then use CD burning software (which is part of some Windows
versions, or is available separately from companies such as Nero and
Roxio) to write a copy on the CD.
 
If the folder is some kind of external media, the administrator permissions
could be set by a third party at another computer to which the media was
attached before it was attached to your computer.

Anyway, you should always store Word documents locally and then copy them
from Windows Explorer to your external media. There are tons of horror
stories about people loosing data due to saving directly to external media.
