How do I get a word count for a document in Outlook

I have written a document in Outlook for which I need a word count. Is it
possible to get that information without counting every word myself?

Use Word's Tools menu. You never mentioned WHICH version of Outlook that
you use or if you have it configured to use Word as your e-mail editor
(you're forced to use Word 2007 in Outlook 2007). You could just copy the
e-mail's body and paste it into a new Word doc to use Word's counter.
