How do I get a valid FP2003 product ID?

I just got a new laptop, I still have my registered copy of FP2003 on the old
PC. When I tried to install my FP2003 onto the new laptop, the product ID I
have on file, doesn't work.

Is there a way to locate the product ID from the copy on my old PC so I can
install on my new laptop before removing from the old PC?

Yeppers...but, there are some that belarc doesn't show though...so I went
the long way :-)

Find the CD, and the jewel case which has the Product Key on it. Like it
says "DO NOT LOSE THIS NUMBER!!"

The number of people that says they've lost their CD keys....I've lost
count.

Download Belarc Advisor (Google it), it can tell you among other things the
CD keys for all the software installed on your system.

No you won't. That's the Product ID, not the Product Key. Two different
animals.

I think the OP might have used the wrong terminology. ;-)

Yah...I noticed that after I had replied.

I've also noticed that Belarc will reveal the key code for only some
programs and not others, I guess it depends on how/where the keycode is
stored.
