How do I get a sound to loop along with an animation?

I have an animation on a slide that loops until next click. I've added a
sound to the animation, but the sound only plays through once and does not
"loop" along with the animation. How do I get it to do that?

if you insert the sound using

insert menu > sounds > from file

add the sound file

then you can right click the sound speaker icon, and choose "loop"

drag the icon of the slide if you do not want it visible
