I am new to running PPT Slide Shows. How do I make it run without the
toolbars showing at the top & bottom. I'd like to zip & email it to family,
however I can't find where to get rid of the top & bottom toolbars nor can I
find a command to start the slide show without the toolbars. Appreciate your
feedback. Thanks.

When done, click "File", "Save as", change the "Save as type" to "PowerPoint
Slide show (*.pps)". You will need to scroll down a few to find that
option. Send that file.

If you go to SLIDE SHOW >> VIEW SHOW the presentation should display full
screen.

The one exception would be if PowerPoint is not setup with its default slide
show option. Go to SLIDE SHOW >> SET UP SHOW. In the upper left of the SET
UP SHOW dialog, in the SHOW TYPE section, be sure PRESENTED BY A SPEAKER
(FULL SCREEN) is active and not BROWSED BY AN INDIVIDUAL (WINDOW).

Thanks, Bill. I did that and it now runs as a full screen slide show from
the start. I also zipped it and sent it to myself via email. Alas, it's too
large. Now I have to find a way to compress or......something! This is all
new to me!

Thanks, Troy. I received a previous reply which gave me what I needed to get the show to run fullscreen from the get-go, but I'm checking out your information on my setup to see if it applies. I appreciate any help I can get. Being creative is fun but hard work!
