How do I get a connection point to the middle of a shape in ppt

In PPT 2003 and prior, you have to fake it.
http://www.pptworkbench.com/html/connectors.htm (Don't miss the additional
links at the top of the page --- connectors 2, 3 and 4.)

In 2007, you can add points to shapes. Use the "convert shape to freeform"
option on the Drawing Tools Format tab, and then right-click and choose Edit
Points, then right-click and add a point where you want it.

In future, please type your question in the message body area of the posting
window. Thanks.

In 2007 is there still no way of finding (and creating a connection point
at) the centre of a circle except by fudging it?

Ah, thanks for prompting me, Martin. I wasn't thinking about, say, the
middle of a circle or something along those lines.

I think you have to fudge that, yeah.
