Now, to your specific question. You can make any shape have an action,
such as a hyperlink, not just a button. You can set the hyperlink to go
to the slide with the answer. You can put the question in a big
rectangle on the question slide. Set the hyperlink for this rectangle to
link an answer slide. Finally, have the answer in a big rectangle that
hyperlinks back to the game board.
This could easily be done with fewer slides using animations or a little
VBA (my Web site has examples that hide and show shapes with VBA).
