How do i fix the horizontal and vertical position of a slide?

How can I fix the horizontal and vertical position of a slide with respect to
the ruler? Currently when toggling through the slides in the edit mode, some
slides appear to be out of center and need to be scrolled to the center of
the edit window.
 
Hi

It sounds like there are things lurking off the slide. To fix, either tab
through all the slide elements until you find the rogue ones or try zooming
out until you can see them.
