I received a beautiful PPS with background music and it runs wonderfully. I
saved it as a PPT so I could go in and find the music so I could set up
another PPS so it would run seamlessly just like that. What is the easiest
way to find where the music links or properties are inside a PPT that I
didn't make?

The easiest way to recover music from a presentation (please be sure to
obtain any copyright permissions required) is to save the presentation as an
HTML. This will create a folder with all the its and piece that make up the
presentation. You should be able to root around in that folder an find the
music easily.

If you want to find the music then as Bill says. If you want to know how to
make it play across slides , loop or be embedded then look at the Sound
section in our free tutorials.
