How do i find the maximum point on a trendline in Excel?

i know i can show the equation and solve it but i want excelt to give me the
x and y coordinates of the maximum point on a trend line

There is no function that does that directly.

LINEST and LOGEST can calculate the coefficients of chart trendlines
that have explicit formulae, e.g.
http://www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme/ExcelTips/Polynomial.htm
Assuming that there is a nontrivial maximum, you could then use Solver
to find it if you don't want to do the calculus.
