Hmm. I took my shoes off yesterday when I got home from work, and now I
can't remember where I put them. Does anyone here have any idea where they
are?

Have you looked under "File|Recent Sites"?

Yeah, my dog had them this morning...toldja not to leave them laying around.
....and don't leave your skateboard on the driveway anymore either. Dang kids.

Yes, I looked under the desk... that is where my shoes usually end up...And I
looked under Recent Files and Recent webs as well... But no webpage...When I
did this I used the one page template, and published it using
smartftp...Looking at Frontpage it seems to be that I should be able to
publish directly from there...Haven't figured that one out
either.............Suze

Look Crash, Like I told Rich, I know where my shoes are... their under the
other desk, the one with the coffee pot on it. That's not the problem... what
I need to know is how to add stuff to an existing website....Hyperlinks, More
pages etc...Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the Humor guys...It is just that
I am new at this and Self taught, and Well It's all so
complicated.............Suze

sorry about the humor...we can't hep it sometimes.

your problem is (probably) you did NOT create a Web/Site only a "lonely" page...with none of the associated files necessary (that FP creates automatically). If you Open FP, then File | New WEB (not new Page) and then enter the location and name of your new web in the box...it'll be something like:

C:\My Documents\My Webs\SusansWeb (you can name it anything you want). Then FP will create all the folders and files it needs.

THEN...you should Publish Web/Site to your host via File | Publish WEb/Site then enter http://www.yourdomain.com . Your web needs to have FP extensions installed and working properly. If you have extensions on your website and you publish with third-party FTP program you most likely have broken the extensions and should have them checked by the host.

In other words...don't use FTP if you have extensions installed on your site.

If you still have it online, then open the site live (if you are using FP
with the server extensions) and publish back to your machine to "C:\my
documents\my webs" (or your system's equivalent path to My Webs).
