How do I find links to my site

How can I find any external links to my site?

I am interested more in a subfolder on the site than just the domain name
(root) itself.
 
Pretty much the best you can do is to use the facilities of the various
search engines. For example: in Google you can type
link:www.mysite.com/mypages and that will show any links that point into
that sub-directory. You can also analyze the logfiles to see the referrer
values as they have the URL's of the pages that link to you in many cases.
 
Ask your web host if they offer a "stats" package that allows you to look at
the log files for your site and see referrers and other information.
